Partnership

APeD works hand-in-hand with a vast network of partners, including UN entities, international organizations, national governments, non-governmental organizations such as, the media and civil society to bring sustainable change in the target communities. APeD is also a member of many like-minded organizations, as well as those network groups that bring together organizations working in the same area Such as none state actors Coalition (NSAC), Consortium of Civic and voter education Actors (CCVEA), Coalition of Ethiopian Civil Society Organization for Election (CECOE).   

At the core of APeD’s mission is deep commitment to work as partners to fostering sustainable development. Rather than impose, it seeks to empower and support through collaboration. By investing in people and strengthening institutions, it helps local organizations such as CBOs, FBOs and other local informal organizations lead their own development, increase their impacts and produce sustainable solutions. Over the course of its history, it has also built a wealth of partnership lessons and experiences through working with more than 6 government offices and 8 international donors in its target regions.
